I've been a little while setting up this blog but now that I'm in, I want to set a few ground rules.
First, I promise to speak from my heart as my Blog Title indicates. Secondly, I want to encourage you to comment if you like or dislike what I say. Thirdly, be gentle...I'm old and set in my ways, but I'm not too ancient to learn new things....look, I'm blogging, aren't I?
I will often speak of "the church" or "my church" meaning St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church and will always express it lovingly as it is one of my few passions. I will not tolerate a lack of respect for the church and will not respond to any such comments. Further, I have no desire to get into online discussions of doctrine. I will only say that we Christians need to be respectful of one another's opinions and stress our similarities and not our differences. We need to remain united especially in this period of trial and persecution of the church.
